After 21 years with BT and Openreach working as a field technician for their copper network, I have moved on to becoming a sole trader offering a wide range of technical services to trade and domestic clients. I can step in where you need expertise in wiring up data cabling, intercoms, or even traditional telephony. I am especially good at tracking and locating faults in buried or concealed wiring, saving time and effort replacing whole runs of cable. I can help with home networking issues such as setting up new WiFi TVs or smart devices.

As the world moves away from traditional copper-based telephones, many customers have asked me: "Do I still need all the old wiring inside my home now that I have switched to a fibre service." In many cases, the answer is "No!"; it is usual that the copper extensions are not the property of your service provider and they will just be left in situ for you to remove. I can help. I can safely identify which cables are needed and which ones are obsolete. I can remove all the old cables for you and fill any holes using waterproof silicone mastic.
